Between 4-6 July, the BENEFITS partners joined the 23rd International Conference on Informatics, Management, and Technology in Healthcare (ICIMTH) in Athens, Greece. The conference provided the opportunity to share BENEFITS’ goals and methodology as well as receive feedback from research and healthcare professionals on the future implementation of the project.

Hosted annually, this year’s ICIMTH conference focused on “Global Healthcare Transformation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics.” The conference aimed to advance international cooperation and dissemination of information in Biomedical and Health Informatics and to promote research and development in the field.

Representatives from the BENEFITS’ coordinator, KMOP and partner Support Group Network hosted a workshop at the conference to present how the BENEFITS framework will support data-driven equity analysis for policy development.

 The workshop attracted positive feedback on the BENEFITS project with a strong expression of interest from stakeholders to follow the project’s implementation.
